The definitive edition is $78 on humblebundle right now and the gold edition is $50 in the ubisoft store. I'd recommend getting it for ubisoft instead of steam so you don't have to deal with the launcher if you don't like those. Plus most 3rd party sites sell extra dlc for ubisoft directly not steam if you ever wanted to pick up more.

But during sales usually you can simply buy complete version with much cheaper price than separately buy these DLC. [deleted] • 2 mo. ago.

The "Complete Edition Year 4" is on sale for $59.99 with 20% off coupon (Code LUNAR20) making it $47.99. If that's still too much, you can get the sale (by Feb 1st) and 20% off using that coupon on the base game. You can just buy Ubi+ subscription and try the base game with all the dlcs for a month.

Bought the base version fo 20$, played for 2 hours, loved it, wanted to upgrade to the 4 years complete edition for 60$, couldn't do that because I already got the base version, refunded the base version, waited for about 1h, bought the 4 years complete edition.
1404 is also still a great game, but feels considerably smaller than 1800 in direct comparison (that's comparing 1404 plus add on to the 1800 base version), and starts to show its age in a few areas. 1800 features a lot of quality of life improvements. If you are interested in campaign or story modes, 1404 is probably stronger and follows a

All in all, if you were to buy everything over on the Ubi store you'd drop about $150-$200 for everything in the store for Anno 1800. Buying the COMPLETE Edition on Steam saves you 75% of that. Heck, even if you own 2 of the Season Passes it is STILL worth it to buy the Complete Edition here on Steam. Also, the game will bind to your Ubi

First of all, welcome to the Anno community! To avoid any confusion: No, the current Year 3 Complete Edition will not give you access to Season 4. So you can either get Year 3 Complete and then the Season 4 Pass later, or you could wait for the probable Year 4 Complete Edition coming soon :) kGqCOE.
